For years, we have provided natural alternatives in your bathroom, without any nasty ingredients. But we also want to help you reduce your ecological footprint. Because how many shampoo bottles do you use per year? We did the test at the office with our team.The result: an average of 4 bottles of shampoo and 4 bottles of shower gel per person per year. These 8 bottles per person per year will end up in the dustbin. But that doesn't have to be the case anymore! From now on, your PMD bag will no longer see a Nuts about you bottle, since you can reuse it endlessly, with the refill system.

 
How does our refill system work? 

• Step 1: You have bought a Nuts about you volume shampoo or hand & body wash for the first time and is now completely empty.

• Step 2: Clean your empty Nuts about you bottle at home. This way we can guarantee the quality of the product.

• Step 3: Bring your clean Nuts about you bottle to one of the selected stores.

• Step 4: Refill your Nuts about you bottle and receive a 4 euro discount at the checkout.

How much less plastic will end up in the bin?

The refill system works like a wine barrel. Each refill station contains a (recyclable) cardboard box, with a "wine bag" in it. This bag is filled with the Nuts about you volume shampoo or hand & body wash. Each refill bag is made of soft plastic and is not printed nor stickered. This way it can easily be recycled through the blue PMD bags. But how much less plastic will be recycled? One refill bag is equal to the contents of 17 Nuts about you bottles. This means that only one refill bag for every 17 Nuts about you bottles ends up in the blue waste bag. In addition, one refill bag corresponds to 1 empty Nuts about you bottle in terms of plastic waste. Conclusion: 17 refilled Nuts about you bottles are equal to 1 new Nuts about you bottle in terms of plastic waste.

But there is more! The refill stations are handmade in Belgium and are made of sustainable wood. On top of that, every Nuts about you bottle is made of 100% recycled plastic.
