DIY face mask for oily skin: Matcha Mask

Once a week your skin needs a deep clean and extra treatment and what's better than a homemade face mask that is completely natural? Our oily skin needs to be purified but hydrated at the same time and the following mask is perfect for that!

How to?

 

  • 1/4 cup cooked, plain oatmeal
  • 1/4 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of honey
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • Rosée de Roses

 

Step 1: Take a bowl and mix all the ingredients together

Step 2: Squeeze in half fresh lemon & about the same amount  Rosée de Roses until you have a good consistency

Step 3: Cleanse skin with Recette de Pureté cleansing oil (use lukewarm water to open your pores

Step 4: Apply the Matcha mask to your skin and leave on for 10 minutes

Step 5: Wet your hands and massage the mask into your skin to exfoliate but please be gentle!

Step 6: Rinse of with cold water and apply Daisy Delight day and night cream 

 

Superfoods

 

Matcha 

Powerful antioxidant boost as one cup is the same as 10 cups of green tea.

Treats skin inflammation. This will calm down your skin and help to diminish redness & acne.

Reduces oil production. It can shrink pores and diminish sebum production. 

 

Oatmeal 

Repairs & heals. The amino acids will repair your skin from blemishes & damaged skin.

Gentle exfoliation. It will get rid of your dead skin giving you a fresh & glowy complexion.

 

Honey 

Very moisturizing but opens up pores & unclogs them at the same time. Oily skin needs hydration too and this way you don’t need to be scared to clog your pores.

It works antibacterial and is very effective if you struggle with acne.

 

Rosée de Roses

This will calm down the skin because of the amazing benefits of roses. Your skin will be left healthy and soft.

 

Lemon 

Brightens & balances the skin. Lemon is amazing to brighten up your complexion and get rid of excessive oil.
